Do accordions grow in value over time?

We've all heard the stories about someone finding an old violin in their attic that turns out to be a priceless Stradivarius. This doesn't happen with accordions. An unused accordion that has gathered dust and mold for several years in someone's garage, basement or attic is probably just an old unused accordion that could be a piece of junk.
