Accordionist M. Makkonen - The Phantom Of The Opera

Video with 12 year old accordionist Mikko Makkonen playing "The Phantom Of The Opera" on the chromatic button accordion. He started playing accordion soon after his 7th birthday. He has achieved the 1st prize in the biggest Finnish accordion competition for young accordionists (the annual "I Play the Accordion" competition) in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 in his category. In addition, he has qualified as a finalist in the "Silver Accordion" competition in 2008 and 2009.
